1977 - The HMPW's new building at 119 to 121 Roman Road E2. The double-fronted shop and basesment had stood empty for several years. It was owned by Tower Hamlets Borough Council, and was available to us at a peppercorn rent as we had applied for, and been granted al charity status by the Charity Commissioners.
